About the USA Swimming Foundation’s Make a Splash initiative
The USA Swimming Foundation’s Make a Splash initiative is a national child-focused water safety campaign, which aims to provide the opportunity for every child in America to learn to swim. Through Make a Splash, the USA Swimming Foundation partners with learn-to-swim providers and water safety advocates across the country to provide swimming lessons and educate children and their families on the importance of learning how to swim. The USA Swimming Foundation has invested millions of dollars to provide grants to qualified Local Partner learn-to-swim programs, to spread national awareness, and to bring together strategic partners to end drowning. To date, more than 5 million children have received the lifesaving gift of swim lessons through the USA Swimming Foundation Make a Splash Local Partner network, comprised of more than 850 qualified lesson providers across the nation. Empower your children with the ability to swim!
Little Sharks Swim Academy LLC offers different types of programs throughout the year. We have a continuous, YEAR-AROUND swim program and SHARK CAMPS. Our YEAR-AROUND program is unlike other swim lesson programs that run on a two week schedule. Little Sharks has established a program where your swimmer can continue their water skill throughout the year on a weekly basis. Once you have registered your swimmer in the YEAR-AROUND program, your membership and space will continue until you decide to change or until they progress to the next Station level. New swimmers can start on any time through out the month.
SUMMER SHARK CAMPS offer the two-week traditional lesson program. These classes will be offered only during the summer months of May - August.
You do not need to have any experience to swim in either program. We will teach you the foundations of becoming a swimmer!
LocationLittle Sharks Swim Academy is located at the Southern Utah University Aquatic Center (J.L.Sorenson Physical Education Building) 580 W Center street , Cedar City, Ut 84720
